Polish-Ukrainian Autumn Festival with the music of Karol Szymanowski: the main thing is not to give up - this is a project of the NGO "Association of Poles "Polonia" named after Karol Szymanowski" in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine

Project partner – Kropyvnytskyi Museum of Musical Culture named after K. Szymanowski (Karol Szymanowski museum in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine)

Public project co-financed from the state budget as part of the Senate of the Republic of Poland's support for the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad in 2025, as part of the "Senate – Polonia 2025" competition.
The "Polish Culture Zone. Support for Cultural Events in Ukraine" project is implemented by the Freedom and Democracy Foundation.

The project envisages organizing 10 concerts in Karol Szymanowski's homeland—the towns where the composer was born and lived from 1882 to 1919. Concert programs will feature music by Karol Szymanowski, other Ukrainian-born Polish composers who struggled in various ways with the partitioning powers and invaders, and other composers, primarily Ukrainian. Renowned artists from Poland and Ukraine, as well as local ensembles, will be invited to participate: a chamber orchestra, a chamber choir, vocal and instrumental ensembles. The concerts will be complemented by accompanying events (presentations, temporary exhibitions, master classes, visits to memorial sites, etc.).
Funding value in 2025: PLN 11,400.00
Total value of the project in 2025: PLN 12,700.00
Agreement signing date: July 2025.
